TAYLOR: Shapeshifting centre shows public has had its say

There were doubters in the beginning, but now that the process is concluding, no one can say that the public didn’t play a role in designing Halifax’s new Nova Centre.

Back in July, when the consultation process began for the massive downtown development, I thought the idea of hosting public sessions was merely an effort to pander to critics.

But it turns out after 11 sessions held around the province, plus one more tonight in Halifax, someone was listening and taking notes.
